Loramus the Defiler is Loramus Thalipedes possessed by a demon located in the Blasted Lands.
Background
After Razelikh the Defiler's body was destroyed he possessed Loramus Thalipedes' body because he was raised from the dead at an Altar of Storm. To trap him forever, Loramus' assistant placed a particular knife into the night elf's body with Razelikh's soul inside of it. In the end, the assistant left his master to die with the trapped demon, he returned to the Dark Portal and got rewarded from one of Loramus' friends there.
