The Kirin Tor Beacon is provided to adventurers as soon as they land on the Isle of Thunder upon completion of 
[35] The Storm Gathers. It can also be purchased from Hiren Loresong for 25
. It functions as an Isle of Thunder-specific 
[Hearthstone], teleporting adventurers either to The Seabolt or Violet Rise based on the island's progression.

Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Officially a toy and can be found in the toy box. 
Patch 5.3.0 (2013-05-21): Kirin Tor and Sunreaver Beacons are now usable from inside the Throne of Thunder. - Hotfix (2013-03-05): Sunreaver Beacon and Kirin Tor Beacon no longer share the same cooldown.
