Kelkar, though only briefly mentioned, was the father of Draka, making him Thrall's grandfather.[3] Soon after her birth, the new parents showed their child to the rest of the clan. He and his mate Zuura were later exiled by Garad from a Frostwolf village because of Draka's sickness. Years later, before a Kosh'harg celebration where Draka met Durotan, Kelkar and Zuura were forbidden to attend the celebration by Garad. When Draka left for the quest to obtain three ingredients, her parents were sad as they didn't expect her to return.
The exact time and cause of his death are not known.

- Kelkar is also mentioned in Draka's TCG card: "The daughter of Kelkar would one day be mother to Go'el, an orc with a great destiny."[4]
