Keldran is an orc quest giver located north of the Valley of Spirits in Orgrimmar.
During Thrall's tenure as Warchief, Keldran was dedicated to the task of proving to the Alliance that the Horde no longer consorted with demonic powers. He planned to accomplish this by eliminating the Burning Blade presence from the region of Desolace. To that end, Takata Steelblade and Maurin Bonesplitter were sent to Desolace to deal with the general demonic threat there and charged with the specific duty of eliminating the Burning Blade.
While Keldran did not seem to have Thrall's official permission for the operation in Desolace, he was convinced that even the Warchief was growing weary of the war with the Alliance and that proving to the humans that the Horde no longer made dealings with the Burning Legion could help make any possible peace talks with the Alliance a lot easier. Keldran's mission in Desolace is considered to have been remarkably successful, despite the fact that the Burning Blade still maintains significant presence there.
