Jhordy Lapforge is a gnome engineer located in Gadgetzan in Tanaris. He gives out a recipe for artisan gnome engineers. He is working on a teleporter, and wears a yellow shirt and goggles. He can teach you how to create and use an Ultrasafe Transporter that will teleport you to Gadgetzan.
Jhordy took part in Operation: Gnomeregan when on Gelbin Mekkatorque's orders, he transported the High Tinker and any adventurers with him out of harm's way at the end of the quest.[1]
He was present during the Legion Invasions.

Notes and trivia
- Jhordy can be seen in the image at the top of the screen during a character transfer.
- He is clearly an homage to Lt. Cmdr. Geordi LaForge, the chief engineer of the U.S.S. Enterprise D in the Star Trek universe. He even has yellow goggles, a homage to his Star Trek counterpart's V.I.S.O.R. Other teleporter operators names after Star Trek engineers include Smiles O'Byron (Miles O'Brien) and Scooty (Scotty).
