Jed'hin Novices are eredar echoes located at the Circle of Aspirants in Eredath, mostly seated among the audience watching the Jed'hin matches. Two of the Novices in the area's eastern circle[51.85, 40.15] stand ready to perform a match under the watch of a Jed'hin Adept. During the world quest 
[45WQ] Jed'hin Tournament, players can interact with one of these Novices (or one of the Adepts or Masters in the other circles) to take control of them and fight in a match.
Abilities

Shove — Shoves the target, dealing X damage. Generates 10 energy.
Grapple — Deals X damage and increases damage dealt by your next Grapple by 150%.
Block — Blocks all incoming damage and generates 8 energy per second. Channeled.
Counter — Counter the target's movements, interrupting Block and placing it on a 10 second cooldown. Only usable on targets who are Blocking.
