Jailor Kassan was one of Garithos' underlings, a dedicated man in command of the Dalaran prisons. A former friend of Kael'thas and servant to the Kirin Tor, he was forced to oversee the imprisonment of the blood elves for consorting with the naga.
Upon meeting face to face Kassan remarked that it was always a pity to see a wizard go bad and was shown to be reluctant to have to attack the Prince. However upon being informed by the Prince that the blood elves would be leaving one way or another, Kassan merely told him "Do what you have to do". The two then departed with both leaders rallying their forces for the battle ahead.
Jailor Kassan would put up a valiant fight, calling in reinforcements and brandishing his mighty axe in defiance of the blood elves; but finally Kael'thas brought him down and was able to leave the dungeons of Dalaran behind... for good.[1]
