Irontree Cavern is a deep cave inhabited by Warpwood Shredders and Warpwood Moss Flayers.
Cataclysm
Following the Cataclysm, the cavern and the surrounding area of the woods now contain a heavy goblin presence. The goblins have been attempting to clear out the caverns for mining operations, as well as oil operations. They are later stopped following a Talonbranch Glade Worgen attack, which leaves the area near the cavern destroyed by fire.
