Intervene is a level 20 pet ability that allows the hunter's pet to intervene an attack towards a group member.

Patch changes

Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed.
Patch 4.2.0 (2011-06-28): Redesigned. The pet runs at high speed toward a group member, reducing the damage done by the next melee or ranged attack made against them equal to 50% of the pet's total health.
Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): Intervene range has been increased so that the pet will properly intercept attacks.
