Inferno is a Destruction warlock talent that increases [Rain of Fire]'s damage by 20% and also gives it a 20% chance to generate a Soul Shard Fragment.
It is an exclusive choice node with 
[Cataclysm].
Patch changes
Hotfix (2024-05-10): Fixed an issue where the scaling of Inferno would become reduced when [Rain of Fire] affected more than 5 targets. - Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 4 Destruction talent (was a level 35 Destruction talent).
Hotfix (2022-04-18): Now has a reduced chance for Rain of Fire to generate Soul Shard Fragments when it deals damage beyond 5 targets. - Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now also increases Rain of Fire damage by 20%. Now available at level 35 (was 60).
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Added.
