Improved Death Strike is a death knight talent in the Blood tree. Note that this talent will not increase the minimum limit healing.

Hotfix (2025-05-27): No longer reduced by 50% in PvP combat.
Hotfix (2022-12-05): The increase to [Death Strike]'s healing has been reduced by 50% in PvP combat.
Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Re-added and redesigned as a row 3 Blood talent (was a tier 6 Blood talent): Reduces the cost and increases the healing of Death Strike.
Old: Increases the damage done by your Death Strike by 40/80/120%, its critical strike chance by 10/20/30%, and its amount healed by 15/30/45%.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed.
Hotfix (2011-07-19): Now provides 40/80/120% bonus damage, up from 30/60/90%, and a 10/20/30% critical strike chance, up from 3/6/9%.
Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Now increases the damage of Death Strike by 30/60/90% (was 15/30/45%).
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now a tier 6 talent with 3 ranks (was a tier 8 talent with 2 ranks). Now increases the damage and healing done by your Death Strike by 15/30/45%, and increases its critical strike chance by 3/6/9%.
Old: Increases the damage of your Death Strike by 15/30%, increases its critical strike chance by 3/6%, and increases the healing granted by 25/50%.
Patch 3.1.2 (2009-05-19): This talent now also increases the healing from Death Strike by 25/50% and the tooltip has been adjusted to reflect the actual functionality after the hotfix in 3.1.0.
