Notes and trivia
- This ability is based on Immolation, one of the Demon Hunter unit's spells in Warcraft III.
- Immolation Aura is a basic demon hunter card in the Ashes of Outland expansion for Hearthstone. Its flavor text reads: "If you can't take the heat, stop standing in the fire."
- This ability is referenced in one of the flirt emotes for male blood elf demon hunters: "I can't tell if I'm burning with desire...or if it's just my Immolation Aura."
- Before Shadowlands, Immolation Aura was the Vengeance replacement for [Eye Beam]. Since Eye Beam was learned from [8-45] Eye On the Prize and it wasn't possible to switch to Vengeance until [8-45] Fel Secrets later in the questline, Immolation Aura was effectively a Vengeance starting ability.
- During the Legion beta, this ability was learned from [8-45] Forged in Fire.
