The Hippogryph Avatar is a hippogryph that appears at the Shrine of the Beast near the Ruins of Eldarath in Azshara.
To summon it, a druid must present a 
[Sacred Stag Heart] from the Child of Apa'ro.
Defeating the Hippogryph Avatar will spawn the spirit of Whisperwing.
