Helen Cheng is Senior Game Designer for World of Warcraft's quest team at Blizzard Entertainment.[1] She "[took] a break to pursue indie game dev",[2] but has returned since April 2018.

As a senior game designer on the World of Warcraft quest team, Helen Cheng creates stories, characters, quests, and events in the game's outdoor world.
Cheng joined Blizzard Entertainment in 2010, and one of her earliest projects was to help with the creation of the Molten Front daily quest hub for the Rage of the Firelands content update (patch 4.2). In Mists of Pandaria, she led the project team who worked on the Tillers faction quests and the player farm, created the Order of the Cloud Serpent faction quests, and contributed to multiple quest hubs, scenarios, and other content. She also led design on the Patch 5.1 "Landfall" storyline.
In her spare time, Helen enjoys playing World of Warcraft, listening to electronic music, and drinking boba milk tea. She loves Korean food and is a fan of internet cat memes.[3]
