Harth Stonebrew, better known simply as the Innkeeper, is a dwarven innkeeper. He acts as a guide for the Hearthstone board game and is the owner of the inn in which the game takes place.[1][2]
Harth has a pet mouse named Sarge.[3][4]
Canonicity
The canonicity of the game of Hearthstone is that of flavor lore. It is a game developed in inns[1] and exists within the Warcraft universe, but may not accurately represent things as they really are.[5]
Whether or not Harth himself and other Hearthstone-specific characters (such as Nexus-Champion Saraad or Skycap'n Kragg) are canon in the Warcraft universe has not yet been determined.[6]
Trivia
- Harth was conceptualized to be the "face" of Hearthstone.[7]
- His appearance is based on the dwarf from the The Perfect Stout TCG card (probably Rejold Barleybrew).
- Harth was listed as a possible character for inclusion in Heroes of the Storm.[8]
