- According to Jeremy Feasel, Gug was one of the very first NPCs created for Elwynn Forest in the original World of Warcraft pre-alpha, though he wasn't actually implemented in the live game until Cataclysm.[1]
[Gug's Mug] may have been intended as a drop from him.
