Grok (animal)

A grok is some kind of livestock which orcs would take to the slaughter. When the first group of orcs entered the portal to Azeroth, they fell upon and easily slaughtered the inhabitants of a small human village. When recounting the event, Garona Halforcen compared the killing of the females and children to taking grok to the slaughter.

• Groks might be a reference to Grox, a type of livestock animal originally introduced in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
