Goldslaves are skeletal trolls that roam the Golden Isle in Vol'dun. They are former members of Pirate-King Zem'lan's crew who attempted to steal some of the Pirate-King's treasure for themselves and were punished by being turned into mindless drones and forced to tend to Zem'lan's treasures for all eternity. First Mate Jamboya, a member of Zem'lan's cursed crew, describes the goldslaves as "de only fate worse than ours".
