Gobbles is a close friend of Commander Schnottz who was transformed into a turkey by an ancient curse. Schnottz seeks to find a way to reverse the curse to bring back his dear friend and sends players into the Ruins of Ammon to recover materials he will need for the ritual. Gobbles can be found wandering behind the building that Schnottz is located within at Schnottz's Landing in Uldum.
The ritual, it seems, does not work as intended. Gobbles dies at its conclusion.

Notes
- Gobbles is the highest level critter in the game to date.
- Gobbles is named after the German Minister of Propaganda in Nazi Germany who served under Adolf Hitler, Joseph Goebbels.
- On another note, Gobbles is also the name of a disabled turkey in one of the South Park episodes.
