Gervase was a worgen who acted as the leader of the Wolf Cult in Duskwood.

At some point, Gervase retook the Scythe of Elune and has been using it in rituals to transform people into worgen. He was approached by a human called Mardigan who infiltrated his Wolf Cult. Though Gervase considered him a fine candidate for their ranks, Mardigan refused to undergo the final test of a kill to become a worgen. Gervase wanted to turn the young man into a worgen anyways and abducted him, sending him to Roland's Doom. Mardigan's father, Karlain, alongside Revil Kost and Ambrose, wanted to free Mardigan. As the trio entered the mine, Gervase infected Mardigan turning him into a worgen. After seeing this, Karlain rushed to attack Gervase and his worgen, however they almost overwhelmed him if not for the interference of Revil and Ambrose, the latter being killed by Gervase. Revil turned to face Gervase. After seeing his face, he was very shocked and immediately attacked him with a great fury. He was finally able to slay him with Karlain's assistance. After the battle was over, Revil and Karlain took the corpse of Ambrose out of the mine to bury, but shortly afterwards, Revil returned to the corpse of Gervase, speaking about his revenge being completed by Gervase's death. Revil picked up a doll and tossed it at the body of Gervase. Then the body and the toy were burned and the Scythe of Elune taken by Revil. It is implied that Gervase and his Wolf Cult were the ones who had Revil's family murdered.[1] After all, Gervase and his worgen may have been responsible for the death of Revil's kid whose doll he left to burn.
