I have a situation where tooltips won't appear for hovered links, and I can't work out why.

Could someone please take a look at the ToC leatherworking items listed in Grand Master leatherworking patterns? They're close to the end of the page and are basically everything from "Black Chitin Bracers" to "Moonshadow Armguards".

The links for both the crafted item (the first column) and the recipe (fourth column) point to disambig pages. This is because all ToC recipes and items have faction-specific versions.

None of those links seem to produce tooltips (when moused over), though. Even though tooltip info is included in the relevant disambig pages.

I swear they worked back in March. Maybe I'm hallucinating.

After the tooltip refactoring that method of working around disambiguations no longer works. You must link directly to the intended tooltip page or hide the tooltip using CSS. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!•C207,729 contributions and counting) 03:16, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

Are you saying I'd have to link either the actual Horde or Alliance item (one at the expense of the other) on the recipe page? Or is there a way of linking just the tooltip for one or other page? Say, embedding the tooltip for the Alliance item inside the loot item that refers to the disambig page?

I replaced the old <onlyinclude/><includeonly/> syntax on the disambig page with that and now it works. Thanks! --w.woods (talk) 06:28, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
