Forum:Assistance needed with reorganizing Toy Box template

We're having a discussion on Template_talk:Toy Box maintainability. It is large and, looking into the future, will only become larger. Is it worthwhile to sort them down by type? Ex: a template for Toy Box items that are related to a profession, a template for Toy Box items that are related to an achievement, and so on. (There might be a need for a miscellaneous for the outliers in cases like 
[Skoller's Bag of Squirrel Treats].)

- Yah, it's going to have to split up. It's already unwieldy. Splitting it up by acquisition type may work. If you want to go that route, look at what we do for combat pets ({{Companions|<Aquatic>}}.
- However, those templates are also difficult to keep up to date. Instead, a single definitive list (like List of companions) would likely be easier to keep up to date. --k_d3 21:00, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
So, I mulled it over and decided to use my sandbox to test out the ideas. I'm left with the conclusion that the Toy Box will just have to remain essentially as-is. There are enough items with multiple sources and/or sufficient differing nuance that it's more work to break the list down into parts. I was the only user to have issue with its size, so there's no problem with not following through. Thank you all for your suggestions and putting up with me. Aliok (talk) 23:00, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
