Flayers' Point, sometimes referred to as "Slayers' Point" due to the danger, is a trading post on the coast of Desolace that is not located on any maps. It started as a skinning camp and evolved into its current status as a busy but isolated trading post for the locals of Desolace, as well as the rare trader who knows enough to come ashore. While at any given time there are a handful of individuals from various races at Flayers' Point, they are far outnumbered by the common tauren, centaur, and quilboar. Other visitors include humans, goblins, dwarves, and elves. But because of the history of conflict with these three races there is no love lost between them. They shout and curse at each other, and brawls erupt like clockwork every five minutes.[1]

Most, though not all, merchants in Flayers' Point are women. There is a Hearthstone board somewhere in the post as well. The closest thing Flayers' Point has to an inn or tavern is a wooden lean-to with three walls[1] called the Tanner's Bed.[2]

During the Cataclysm, the area was visited by Greydon Thorne, his son, and crew.
