Fire Beetles are critters found in Mount Hyjal, the Searing Gorge, the Blasted Lands, Un'Goro Crater and Burning Steppes. They require the high temperature and humidity to survive.
They are also inexplicably found in the fiery corridors of Shattered Halls in the Hellfire Citadel.

- You know that clattering sound you're always hearing in the Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes? It's coming either from a Lava Crab or one of these things, with the fire beetle being the slower of the two.[1]
