- @DarkTZeratul What do you mean by a separate file? This one is actually from Cata. All other map images are titled by the patch they were implemented in. I would say, we need to create a separate MoP file for the gallery if anything (I've already done that), and keep this one updated through the upcoming expansions.--Adûnâi (talk) 02:02, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
- DarkTZeratul is saying that the Legion map should be uploaded to File:WorldMap-World-Legion.jpg and then when it goes live the files can be moved to this location with the old map getting uploaded to File:WorldMap-World-MoP.jpg. Why is this map different from File:WorldMap-World-Legion.jpg? Xporc (talk) 20:54, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
- File:WorldMap-World-Legion.jpg is from an older build, therefore it is a duplicate, possibly during beta. File:WorldMap-World.jpg is the current one which should be the main one and updated over the course of expansions. But once a new expansion is released and it changes this map again, that legion world map will need it own and placed on legion pages that contains it for historical purposes like we have for the previous expansions such as Pandaria, Cataclysm, Wotlk, BC, and then Vanilla. — Surafbrov T / C 00:39, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Further explaination, this world map compared to the one you linked: This one is the current from live build while that legion one was actually from the alpha builds. Checking the history of this one March 9, 2016 while Coobra reverted it the same day.. then it was updated again after Legion's release. — Surafbrov T / C 00:45, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
