The Expedition Armory is a ruined Sons of Lothar base on the edge of south-central Hellfire Peninsula. It was destroyed by Horde forces consisting of orcs and death knights near the end of the Invasion of Draenor. The death knights cursed the armory's defenders and turned them into the Unyielding, vengeful ghosts who haunt the ruins and remain trapped in an eternal battle against the Fel Horde. Most of the Sons of Lothar are unwilling to speak of or go near the ruins due to the painful memories involved.[1][2]
The armory contains several ruined buildings, including Nightwatch Inn and the Lordaeron Armory.
