- Interestingly, Blackwell does not have the Cursed buff like many other NPCs like guards and soldiers. This might imply he's not possessed but is rather killing innocents willingly. He does, however, have the blue eyes that are standard for people possessed by the Heartsbane Coven.
- Blackwell has the same model and weapon as the Executioner found at Hangman's Point. Whether they are same person or simply share the same model is unknown.
