Emperor Tsao was an emperor of the mogu. Very little is known about this emperor, other than his reign was short and unremarkable by mogu standards, notable mostly for administrative reorganization. He was the only mogu emperor that was actually liked among the pandaren as he permitted the pandaren slaves, by imperial edict, to read, write and establish their own schools.[1]
A statue of his likeness, kept in respect of his memory, remains on the eastern coast of the Jade Forest, while most others were removed after the revolution.
