Elder Watchers are wildkin that protected the Barrow Deeps during the Third War alongside Watchers troops. Ostensibly under the command of Maiev Shadowsong as well as the Keeper Califax, the Elders sought to bar Tyrande Whisperwind from the prison of Illidan Stormrage, imprisoned for ten thousand years by his brother Furion. They along with their commander were slain in the process of the Betrayer's liberation, a fact which amused Stormrage. Ultimately their charge was instrumental in delivering Azeroth from the Burning Legion's invasion.
