Duke Vallenhal is a human death knight found at the Ruby Dragonshrine in the Dragonblight. He is accompanied by Worn Bloodworms. His unholy energy needs to be drained for [15-30] In Service of Unholy.

Abilities

Blood Presence — Strengthens the Death Knight with the presence of blood, increasing damage by 15% and healing the Death Knight by 4% of damage dealt. Only one Presence may be active at a time.
Bloodworm — Creates a Bloodworm to attack nearby targets. Caster receives health when the Bloodworm deals damage. Lasts 8 sec.

Duke Vallenhal took the place of Orbaz Bloodbane who was at the Ruby Dragonshrine at some early point in the alpha/beta. Presumably, this was changed so Bloodbane could have a bigger role in Icecrown, but Bloodbane is still mentioned as having killed Dahlia Suntouch.
His last name might be a reference to Valhalla, the last resting place for dead Vikings.
