Detection is a rogue ability, learnable from [Dirty Tricks, Vol 1: Detection] . The tome can be purchased from Cravitz Lorent in the Dalaran Underbelly or from Kelsey Steelspark in the Hall of Shadows.

This ability allows the rogue to see certain hidden creatures, such as Sneaky Marmots. It's used in the puzzle to obtain the [Survivor's Bag of Coins] in Ravenholdt Manor.

Notes

The ability text and animation refer to the functionality of [Detect Traps] before it became a passive ability; the animation was commonly known as "Swirly Ball", which was removed in patch 1.11.0.
