Dessicus of the Dead Pools is found in the northwestern end of the Brimstone Springs in western Gorgrond. It regularly whipped other elementals into a frenzy.^[1]

Killing Dessicus is one of the criteria for [Gorgrond Monster Hunter]. He drops Globe of Dead Water, which starts [15-40] Trophy of Glory: Dessicus.

Abilities

Hydro Blast 60 yd range — Blast a target with water, inflicting Frost damage. 1.5 sec cast. Interruptible. Hits for 4.5-5k Frost
Draw Water — Dessicus draws water from nearby life forms, causing them to become dehydrated. 1.5 sec cast. Uninterruptible.Stacks Desiccated, a 20% movement speed debuff for 15 sec, which will stun for 20 sec at 5 stacks.
Aqua Eruption — Water explodes outwards from Dessicus of the Dead Pools, inflicting Frost damage and drenching enemies with water. 5 sec cast. Will remove Desiccated stacks.
Dehydrated — Dessicus draws water in from nearby life forms, causing them to become dehydrated.
