Designer Island

While the area is present in-game, it can't be accessed by normal means.

Designer Island is a programmer, development-oriented closed zone and instance for use by Blizzard employees and not accessible to players. In early World of Warcraft builds, it was located north-east of the Eastern Kingdoms, but it was later removed and placed in Development Land after a player found the island.^{[citation needed]}

Quests

• The quest Clayton's Quest: Extreme!! asked players to kill 255 Evil Squirrels in Designer Island. It circulated among the playerbase for a while before being removed in Warlords of Draenor.
