Dermot is a Forsaken. Magus Wordeen Voidglare wanted the Bloodstone Wedge that Dermot had stolen as part of his attempt to defect from his people.
Alongside Alina and Ricter, and under the leadership of Kegan Darkmar, Dermot departed the Undercity and participated in the theft of Bloodstone Artifacts from a secure vault before fleeing to the ruins of the Lordamere Internment Camp in the foothills of the Alterac Mountains. Despite the considerable distance they had fled, the group was unable to escape the reach of the Horde, and Dermot was slain alongside his compatriots at the behest of Magus Wordeen Voidglare, with his pilfered artifact returned.
