Lordamere Internment Camp was the only internment camp based in the Alterac Mountains. It was located on a hill overlooking the Dalaran Crater, and was defended by Dalaranian forces.

History

Aftermath of the Second War

On their way to Dalaran, the young Prince Arthas Menethil and Lady Jaina Proudmoore decided to spy on the orcs in the camp during the night. Guarded by guard patrols and two watchtowers, the pair managed to slip past them to the camp where they saw the lethargic orcs. As Jaina saw the females and infants, she felt remorse and doubts, while Arthas was adamant that the camps were necessary. Soon, they left the camp, undetected.[1]

World of Warcraft

Four Forsaken deserters hid here, and agents of the Horde were asked to seek them out and kill them for their misdeeds. The leader of the local Dalaranian forces was Warden Belamoore. She was studying the Bloodstone Artifacts brought to her by Kegan Darkmar and his comrades.

Cataclysm

Nothing of the Internment Camp seems to remain after the Cataclysm.

Cataclysm This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

After the Cataclysm, the structures of the internment camp were torn down and a small plot of land - the Brazie Farmstead - was built in its place, enclosed in a rail fence with an unoccupied house at its far end.

In the RPG

Located near Dalaran's ruins, Lordamere Internment Camp once served as a holding area for captured orcs. Dalaran wizards now use the camp to imprison Forsaken. Warden Belamoore is the stern wizardess who oversees the camp. She does not exactly hate undead, but desires to study them under controlled conditions. Perhaps she will invent something that will help defeat the Scourge.[2]
