Deranged Explorers are dwarves from the Explorers' League that have gone mad from the mysterious whispers in the Whisper Gulch in the Howling Fjord.
Following the war against the Jailer, they still appear inside the gulch, which upset Brann Bronzebeard. He also wanted to figure out a way to rescue them.[1]
Abilities
Sunder Armor — Hacks at an enemy's armor, reducing it per application of Sunder Armor. Can be applied up to 5 times. Lasts 20 sec.
Torch — Strikes at an enemy, inflicting weapon damage plus 125.
Objective of
[Grick's Bonesaw] needs to be used on their corpses to loot their 
[Deranged Explorer Brains] for 
[10-30] Brains! Brains! Brains!

Notes
When you kill them, you get a whisper from An Unknown Voice who says any of these sentences:
- They have turned against you. Now... take your revenge.
- Kill them all... before they kill you.
- Tell yourself again that these are not truly your friends.
- You are a pawn of forces unseen.
- It WAS your fault.
- There is no escape. Not in this life. Not in the next.
- Give in to your fear.
- They are coming for you.
Trivia
- The references to "IT," specifically IT in all capital letters, is reminiscent of the novel A Wrinkle in Time. In the novel, a powerful enemy referred to as IT is corrupting worlds. IT takes control of peoples' minds, and uses their bodies to serve IT's purposes. IT claims to have the truth, and that letting oneself be taken into IT will bring peace and happiness forever.
