Degu is one of three porcupine spirit beasts, added in patch 5.2.0, with Degu being red. They are the first spirit beasts added in Mists of Pandaria, and the first ones to not be rare spawns.
Abilities
Strong Will — Physical. Cannot be tamed until weakened. (The creature's strong will prevents it from being tamed until it is weakened.)
Barbed Needle — Nature. Inflicts 50% of the target's maximum health as Nature damage. 15 - 50 yd range, 1.5 sec cast.
