Trivia

This ability is named and styled after the "deep breath" abilities of various dragon bosses throughout World of Warcraft's history, starting with Onyxia, the game's first dragon raid boss. These abilities were either called Deep Breath, or had the boss emote something like <name> takes in a deep breath..., hence the name.

Patch 11.1.0 (2025-02-25): Fixed an issue where Deep Breath with [Maneuverability] would not break root effects.
Patch 11.0.7 (2024-12-17): Damage reduced by 15% in PvP combat.
Patch 11.0.2 (2024-08-13): Damage increased by 10%.
Patch 10.1.5 (2023-07-11): Now increases the duration of [Ebon Might] for Augmentation.
