Notes
Particularly with the new Burning Crusade recipes of 
[Fel Iron Bomb] and 
[Adamantite Grenade], this item is largely of historical value.
Until relatively recently, 
[Dark Iron Ore] (like other ores) was limited to 10 per stack. Add to that the special requirements to learn how to craft Dark Iron Bars, this item was very expensive, compared to other items that could be made from that same dark iron.
With the advent of Burning Crusade, though, almost all of those other items are also obsolete.
Patch changes
Patch 1.6.0 (2005-07-12): Dark Iron Bomb tooltip text and stun effect radius has been corrected to be the appropriate 5 yards.
