The Dark Emanation is being channeled by four Shadowmoon Voidwhisperers in the northern cave of the Waning Crescent. Defeat the four voidwhisperers, and the dark emanation can be attacked. Kill it for the 
[Abberant's Paw] and 10-20x 
[Garrison Resources].
Abilities
Dark Maw — Deals 9 Shadow damage to all enemies in a cone in front of the caster, every 0.5 sec. for 2 sec.
Visions from the Void — Showers the area with vile goo, inflicting 3 Shadow damage to all targets within 2 yd of the impact and summons a Shadow Imp.
Tracking quest
To check whether the Dark Emanation has been looted, copy and paste this command into the chat window:
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(33064))
If a "true" appears in the chat window, the Dark Emanation has been looted; "false" indicates the opposite.
