This article contains lore taken from Warcraft novels, novellas, or short stories.

The Chamber of the Air[1][2] is a special meeting room of the Council of Six, the ruling council of the Kirin Tor. It has no visible walls, the gray stone floor with its central diamond symbol stood beneath an open sky that shifted and changed rapidly, as if the time sped past within the chamber. During those meeting, each member of the Six hide their identities and even their genders with magic.[1]

But the room has a hidden truth - it is actually a plain chamber enchanted with a simple parlor trick, a way to fool and amaze visitors. The Six delighted in the confusion, making sure no one entered or exited the chamber without being bewildered as to where they had been and whom they had seen and often even what they had said and heard. The only known time they have removed these disguises was before Khadgar during the Second War, after he named several members despite their disguises.[3]

During the events of Tides of War, Jaina Proudmoore visited the members of the Six. Their meetings were held there.

The Chamber of Air, as depicted in Warcraft

The Chamber of Air[4] is situated within the Violet Citadel of Dalaran. The chamber has no ceiling or walls, and is surrounded by a ringed platform, upon which stand the Council of Six. The floor is purple and gold, with the Eye of the Kirin Tor inlaid.

Khadgar travels to the Chamber of Air to seek the Six, following his realization that Medivh has been poisoned by the fel.

Speculation

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

The Chamber's exact location within Dalaran is unknown. It has been theorized that it was the floating tower within the rotating crystals at the top of the Violet Citadel, but knowing the Kirin Tor, it could have been anywhere in the city or even in another dimension.
