Chae-nan is one of Warlord Kao's bodyguards and as such was present when his master resurrected by the Zandalari trolls. Under his master's command, Chae-nan joined with the force of 500 Zandalari warriors ordered to destroy the Shado-Pan and their monastery under the command of Khal'ak. During the battle he nearly killed Tyrathan Khort in his single-minded attempt to kill Vol'jin, though the mogu ended up being attacked by Taran Zhu and after a brief battle was slain by the lord of the Shado-pan.[1]
