Captain Rivers is a human guard captain of Stormwind Keep. Shortly after the Battle for Broken Shore, a nathrezim assassin infiltrated the keep and made an attempt on King Anduin Wrynn's life. Captain Rivers and three other guards heard the commotion and ran to help the king, but Anduin had already subdued the nathrezim and sent Rivers and his men to search the rest of the keep and make sure the assassin had been working alone.[1]
