Captain Nir'zan seems to be Khal'ak's right hand as she directed the Zandalari invading Pandaria. After revealing that Lieutenant Trag'kal and his men were met by trained defenders and killed during their attempt to take Zouchin Village Nir'zan and his men were ordered to have Trag'kal and the other fallen Zandalari's dead bodies stripped, skinned, filled with straw, and posted at either side of the village. Remarking that no pandaren would fear that sight, Khal'ak told him that the sight was intended to remind the Zandalari that the birth of an empire was going to be bloody.
Following Chen Stormstout and Tyrathan Khort's scouting mission, which allowed them to acquire vital information in regards to the Zandalari's plan to resurrect Warlord Kao, Nir'zan was ordered to attack the Alliance and take as many prisoners as possible in order to discover the man's identity. An action that ultimately resulted in the capture of Vol'jin, Chen, Khort, and the Shado-pan when they attempted to stop the resurrection of the mogu warlord. After Vol'jin and his companions escaped the Isle of Thunder, Nir'zan was among the 500 that Khal'ak took with her to destroy Vol'jin and the others at the Shado-Pan Monastery. During the battle that followed, Captain Nir'zan engaged in battle against Vol'jin and was killed.[1]
