Captain Gastrod is the human captain of The Siren's Daughter in the Kul Tiran fleet, located in Tiragarde Sound where he attempts to retrieve the corpse of Derek Proudmoore. He is an old colleague of Captain Amalia Stone who, in undeath, claims that Gastrod achieved his rank through deception and blackmail. Thus Stone's first act after she joined the Forsaken was to send Horde adventurers to get rid of her old colleagues.
