The Bloodcursed Reef[83, 21] is a naga-infested area east of Wyrmscar Island, where several destroyed ships lie broken on the ocean floor. These ships are inhabited by Bloodcursed Voyagers, spirits of the former humans who sailed here in the past.[1] Captain Edward Hanes can be found on the nearby isle, from where he tasked adventurers to cleanse the reef of the Bloodcursed Naga.[2]
The bloodcurse is what is said to have sunk all the ships off the reef.[3] During the Great Sundering, thousands of night elves faded into oblivion in this area, and in their place rose the Bloodcursed naga.[2]
