Blackrock Eruption

Blackrock Eruption is a PvE event that periodically occurs in the Searing Gorge.

Event overview

Eruptions occur every two hours and last for 60 minutes. While the eruption is active, a number of new mobs will spawn throughout the zone that drop  [Firelands Embers], which can be used to purchase fire resistance gear from Lokhtos Darkbargainer in Blackrock Depths.

Daily quests

A number of daily quests are available at Thorium Point during the event. These daily quests reward Hydraxian Waterlords and Thorium Brotherhood reputation, as well as Firelands Embers.

PvP

During the event, all players in the Searing Gorge receive the  Eruption! buff, rendering them worth no honor in PvP. Entering Blackrock Mountain will change the buff to  Hot Blooded, which makes players worth 300% honor. The  Drained of Blood buff from the Blood Moon event is reused here as well, giving players temporary immunity after returning to life. A new graveyard has also been added inside Blackrock Mountain itself.
