Kill Araxxas and collect the Prison Keys.

Description

I did not come this far to lose her in the final moments.

Maiev must be in the cells beneath Black Rook Hold.

I scouted above, and the entrance to the prison is guarded by a fearsome jailor.

I will sneak past and take out the guards inside. Defeat Araxxas, take the keys, and then meet me within.

("Araxxas: He holds the master key.")

Notes

Follow to find and kill Araxxas for the keys. Once done with that task, go into the enclosure behind him and down the stairs. Jarod will be right in front of you, kneeling next to a dying Arduen Soulblade.

Quest accept

Commander Jarod Shadowsong says: Follow me. This will lead us to the ramparts.

Jarod runs up the stairway and takes the right turn (south). On the ramparts he mounts up on Bard.

Commander Jarod Shadowsong says: I will take out the guards inside the prison. Get those keys and meet me within the cells.

Jarod rides off towards Araxxas and when he gets close, stealths to sneak past and into the Darkpens.
