Arduen Soulblade is a night elf quest giver located in the Darkpens area of Ravencourt at Black Rook Hold in Val'sharah.
He was traveling with Cassiel Nightthorn, Asha Ravensong and Sirius Ebonwing in pursuit of a dreadlord. While the group was scouting the area of Black Rook Hold, they were captured. Arduen attempted to escape from the prison within, but failed and was mortally wounded as a result.
While the adventurer goes on ahead to locate Maiev Shadowsong, Commander Jarod Shadowsong stays behind long enough to keep Arduen company while the latter is dying.
