Bark of the Wild was a pet ability available exclusively to the dog family of hunter pets, increasing player Strength, Agility, and Intellect by 5%.

It is functionally identical to the Gorilla ability [Blessing of Kongs], but surpassed in effectiveness by the [Embrace of the Shale Spider] of the Shale Spider family and the [Strength of the Earth] of the Worm family, which provide additional critical strike chance and Versatility, respectively.
